Oak Tree: Nantucket Lake House-The Glam Edition


Think back to your childhood & conjure up your most treasured memories.  Ahhh… those memories of yesteryear will sometimes make us do some crazy things.  This client spent his youth summering with relatives on Lake Norman in this very cove-the idyllic memories of a carefree youth. 30 years later the lure of Lake Norman drew him back to build a vacation/future retirement home for he and his own family in the very same cove he summered in as a child. Full circle. Now, did he envision the glam or was that what happened when he turned his back and his wife and I hijacked this project? No matter… he loved it all as long as he got his wine cellar! What’s not to love? Another fabulous lake house with a twist!
